- Minimum purchase of 4,000 miles
- Maximum purchase of 75,000 miles
- The sale is processed by Points.com
Is It Worth It?
There are plenty of options to maximize this offer; the easiest one is using the monthly Flying Blue Promo awards. This month’s awards will set you back 93,750 miles roundtrip from Europe to Vancouver. Purchasing the maximum number of miles (75,000) would give you a total of 150,000 miles for €2,062.50. That is enough for a round trip to Europe and a further one way in Business class for less than $2,500 which could be a good value — just be mindful of the taxes/fees on those flights.
While it is not worthwhile to buy points speculatively, this is a solid offer from Flying Blue, and if you want to travel to Europe and have the flexibility to target the right Flying Blue Promo, then this could provide you some good value. However, despite the value, you might be better off holding cash instead of buying points — it all depends on your travel plans and goals.
