Lufthansa Miles & More members have an incredible promotion to earn 30X miles on all Booking.com reservations through December 31, 2023. That's nearly a 30% return on your booking, and there are very few restrictions. Here are the details.
Lufthansa Promotion: 30X Miles with Booking.com Reservations
Through December 31, 2023, Lufthansa Miles & More members get 30 miles per euro with Booking.com reservations made with this link. Note that the 30X miles are per euro or its equivalent in other currencies. That means members are getting closer to 28X miles per dollar after the conversion from euros.
While only bookings made before December 31 are valid, stays can be any dates available on Booking.com. The only limitation of this promotion is that members can earn a maximum of 150,000 bonus miles, which would require €3,000 in bookings.
The normal Booking.com advantages apply to all bookings, including free cancellation where available, the best rates, etc. However, members must make reservations with the special link and not directly on Booking.com.

Our Take
This promotion almost doesn't make sense when you do the math. Our readers redeem Lufthansa miles at 3.2¢ each, on average. Earning roughly 28 miles per dollar means you're getting almost 90% back on your Booking.com reservation! Of course, you won't earn hotel points when booking through Booking.com, but this is probably the better deal.
Lufthansa is part of Star Alliance, which means you can use your Lufthansa miles throughout the Star Alliance network. You also can redeem your miles for Lufthansa first class or Miles & More Mileage Bargains. Just remember that Lufthansa miles expire after 36 months. However, given that Miles & More miles are often quite difficult to earn, this promotion probably makes sense for anyone who wants these rare, valuable miles.
